Howdy!
I've loved aviation since I was a small child. My first flight ever was from right here in the Antelope Valley to visit my grandparent's in Eastern Washington when I was about 3 aboard the mighty Cessna Turbo Centurion. It was awful - I puked the entire way there! Despite the misery, I didn't let my parents turn us around. We made it there, I was hopelessly hooked on flying, and I haven't been airsick since!
My own flying journey really began while I was in high school in Northern Virginia, where I earned my private pilot certificate and instrument rating in 2018 and 2019, respectively. I continued on to earn my commercial pilot certificate and flight instructor rating in 2022 and 2023, respectively, during my time studying Mechanical Engineering at LeTourneau University in Longview, TX.
After graduating, I came full circle and returned to the Antelope Valley to work at Edwards Air Force Base as an Air Force Civilian. I started as a subsystems engineer in 2023, and at the beginning of 2026 I moved to a flight test engineer role. In my role, I support flight testing from the mission control room, providing real-time data quality and safety information to the test pilot(s) to ensure we execute safely and effectively. I've enjoyed engaging in freelance flight instruction - offering BFRs, WINGS training, and general instruction and decided to take it further and start Fly Worthy in 2026.
I have experience in multiple aircraft types, including: C162, C172, C182, T210, PA24 and PA28/R, among others. I have extensive experience with technically advanced avionics, and I would love to help you get the most out of your systems.
My favorite airplane of all time is the Boeing 757 and helicopters are the “forbidden fruit” I most want to fly.

All training is conducted in YOUR aircraft. I can also come to your flight club or school if they allow unaffiliated instructors to conduct training in their aircraft. I am insured and can adjust my policy to suit your needs.
I am currently affiliated with the Happy Bottom Flying Club as an instructor. While not focused on initial flight instruction, HBFC is conducive for further flight training like an instrument rating or commercial certificate at a lower cost than you’d be able to find elsewhere.
(As cool as I think the 757-300 on the left is, I regret I cannot offer instruction in one)
