Time-Building

$40 per hour

To help pilots who are otherwise qualified to act as PIC, I offer a reduced time building rate to help pilots satisfy the experience requirements of their insurance policy for their aircraft.


Ground Instruction

I offer in-person and online ground instruction to suit your needs. Whether it's helping shore up some weak knowledge areas or providing a mock oral exam to build confidence for the practical test, I’m here to help.

Sport and Private Pilot Training

Part 61 flight training for sport and private pilot candidates - I can teach you from zero-hour student to certificated pilot.

Flight Review:

Every 24 calendar months, pilots are required to complete a flight review (or gain a new certification, or complete an FAA-approved course). I offer Biennial Flight Reviews (BFRs) to help you maintain or regain currency. The BFR will cover the following areas:

  • Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)

  • Aircraft systems

  • Cross-country flight planning scenario

  • Risk management and decision-making

  • Preflight procedures

  • Airport operations (taxi, takeoff, pattern operations, landing)

  • En route operations (basic airmanship, navigation)

  • Aeronautical decision making (single-pilot and crew resource management)

  • Adverse flight (slow flight, stalls, unusual attitudes, emergency procedures)

FAA WINGS:

I offer FAA WINGS program flight training to pilots looking to improve their flying proficiency through continuing education and tailored, scenario-based training. WINGS credit can be used to satisfy the flight review requirements of 14 CFR 61.56.


Advanced Flight Instruction

Commercial Pilot, Flight Instructor:

Part 61 flight instruction for pilots looking to obtain their commercial pilot certificate or flight instructor certificate.

Instrument instruction not yet available.

High-performance and complex airplane. Spin training for flight instructor candidates (in approved aircraft only).
